“Agenda21” A Trojan Horse Dressed in Green
Contributed By: Randy Harris
Many have heard of Agenda21 or Sustainable Development. Few understand that the goal of Agenda21 is to bring all of the earth’s resources under a single controlling authority. The proof is in this statement by our own U.S. Senator Jim Inhofe. “The implementation of Sustainable Development…would require nothing short of total control over the earth’s resources.” See page 214 of Senator Inhofe’s book “The Greatest Hoax.”
The question many will have is just how do you get the world to surrender to an international body? Here is where an impending threat, real or imagined, is needed. In this case, the impending doom of global warming brought on by unsustainable development is the catalyist being used. Senator Inhofe’s book “The Greatest Hoax” confirms this. See page 215.
How is Agenda21/Sustainable Development being advanced?
The most common method is by what appear to be local environmental initiatives. Most, if not all, are either from federal government agencies or by an NGO called ICLEI. ICLEI stands for International Council for Local Environmental Inititatives. Both federal agencies and ICLEI are funded directly or indirectly, by federal grants. Your city’s office of Sustainable Development could be funded by a grant from the feds. The lure of free money is almost impossible for your elected officials to resist.
Just what resources are to be controlled by the implementation of Agenda21/SD .
In a word “EVERYTHING”.
But to be somewhat more specific, I’ll name a few: Access to health care, food, energy, water, use of automobiles and land use.
Just what do the proponents of Agenda21/Sustainable Development think about private property? In their own words: “land…cannot be treated as an ordinary asset and subject to the inefficiencies of the market. The provision of decent dwellings and healthy conditions for the people can only be achieved if land is used in the interest of society as a whole.” Basically all land/resources are to be owned or at least controlled by government. Bye, Bye private property.
This should give everyone plenty to consider. In later articles I’ll go into more detail about the implementation of Agenda21/SD and just what I think needs to be done about this insidious Trojan horse called Agenda21.
